this is a question ideally suited for a toronto hydro employee, but since they're not open until monday morning... :) suppose you started renting an apartment where hydro was not included and a few months later it was time to make a payment-- but the hydro account is in the landlord's name. can you just call in to toronto hydro and provide them with a credit card number or an account to withdraw payment from? essentially, is there a way to make a payment on an account that doesn't have your name on it? and/or how easy is it to switch an account from the landlord's name to your name, when there's a balance? does toronto hydro care or do they just want money, in whatever form possible? thank you in advance!
