A Room With A View

Pub Date:2008-03-12 00:00:00 Author: Click:31 Category: paper crafts

Friday, February 29, 2008 was a great day! I tagged along with hubby and our oldest son, as they headed out to a project in the works. We were waiting for the GM when I spotted a few potted Orchids. I love orchids. I took a couple shots and was getting ready to get up close and personal when the security guard came up and informed me ‘no camera’s allowed’.

Oops. My bad.

At least he didn’t take my camera away from me. :)

Camera’s are allowed in the private suites.

The guys made themselves at home in the middle of the space.

I wandered off and enjoyed the views from the 34th? floor…  Talk about a room with a view!

At this point, I’m not sure if we are on the 34th, 35th, or 36th floor.

Hey…. guys. Did you notice the view?

I guess not…

I may not know what floor we are on… but I know we are higher than the job site on the top floors of the Sheraton!

Oh look hon… there’s another project you guys are working on!

What fun! I’ve never had the opportunity to have an entire floor of a high rise building to myself for an hour. Okay.  An entire floor to myself and the 3 guys… but they were busy… busy… busy… so it may as well have been all to myself.

I loved the corner office! The one with the views of the sound and the Seattle Space Needle. Ohmy gosh! It was so beautiful. Funny thing… it was a little over cast but sunny. Shortly after we left, the black clouds rolled in, along with the rain. Timing was perfect!

What a way to spend an afternoon!

After leaving First Union Square, we stopped by several book stores on the way out of town. If you ever get a chance to stop into the Elliot Bay Book Co. book store by all means do! The building is old and the floors squeek and creak as you walk around. It’s one of those cozy stores, where you find locals sitting on the floor, leaning up against the shelves as they browse through the books. Elliot Bay Book Co. is a wonderful place to visit, but it didn’t make it to my list of favorite book stores. Third Place Books use to be my all time favorite book store… but as it’s become so popular in the past few years, I’m looking for a new favorite.
