What a week this has started to be. I won't go into the details because I don't want a pity party. Suffice it to say that the first weekend of the new year I was in bed, sick, with a nasty head cold. YUCK!! This did nothing to improve my mood, especially since I had to go to work on Monday.

Monday was a day I would much rather forget, though it seems that some bits of it are following me through the week.

That which does not kill us makes us insane??

The week did brighten, and continues to do so.

I received a very sweet gift from my BFF. She sent me a gift card to B&N..in the amount of my (preferred) age. Isn't she cute!! I can't wait to use it, but I will wait because...

Every time we see each other its like we just talked the day before. Which, in reality is kind of true since we email each other almost every day. But still, you get the idea. We always have so much fun together, with or without the hubbies and kiddies (and puppies and kitty(s)).

*SIGH* I'll be counting the days for sure!!
