- control panel / System: shows the circular icons...rotating / zooming in out

- some type of 3d desktop? (option)


..apart from the control panel thing (that id seen demoed in  longhorn promos) not sure what else would work 3d...

what do you think could be 3d in win7?

*some stuff to make use of WPF / silverlight.. might be good?

Q:could icons be animated? too much over head? .... so they would look like normal icons - but if you moused over - or double clicked - they did things...etc?
