The perfect presidential candidate!

Someone presented me with a unique objective recently during a political discussion. They told me to take the best aspects of any individual political figures, past or present, and combine them into the “perfect” hypothetical presidential candidate. After giving it a great deal of thought, I realized that my ideal presidential candidate would have:

• Thomas Jefferson’s intellect.
• FDR’s leadership skills.
• Joe Biden’s debate skills and knowledge of modern-day issues and problems.
• Wes Clark’s academic and military credentials.
• Henry Clay’s oratorical skill.
• Paul Wellstone’s passionate Liberalism.
• Mark Warner’s party line-shattering likability.
• John C. Calhoun’s hair.

So, there you have it: my ideal presidential candidate. Now, I call upon my fellow bloggers of all political persuasions to create their ideal candidate in any manner that they see fit.
