Of late, a number of stringent measures have been taken up against the curse of smoking. As people have always seemed to be quite reluctant on giving up the addiction, these measures are helping in atleast cutting down the scale of smoking in the public places and thereby cocooning the people and the environment. The passive smoking curses of smoking addiction are quite well known. In most of the countries smoking has been banned in the public places.
